• Aluwash is a low foam (50-70°C) acidic liquid detergent descaler suitable for use in spraywashing (e.g. trays), keg washing and CIP in the food and beverage industry. • Aluwash is suitable for use on aluminium. • Aluwash is highly acidic and effective at removing inorganic deposits and other soils. • Aluwash is a conductive liquid detergent and suitable for automatic dosing and control.

Low foam properties at normal use temperatures (50-70°C) give improved cleaning performance under conditions of pressure and turbulence. Highly effective at removing most inorganic scale deposits, improving operational efficiency of equipment and giving enhanced cleaning performance. Inhibited against attack on aluminium, extending the life of equipment and items cleaned. Suitable for automatic dosing and control by conductivity, ensuring consistent delivery of product.

Typical use concentrations for Aluwash are 0.4-3% w/w (0.3-2.3% v/v) depending on application, soil and water hardness. Aluwash should be used above 50°C for optimal performance. Foam may be generated at lower temperatures. Typical use concentration for manual cleaning is 1-3%. Aluwash containing solutions should be thoroughly rinsed after use to remove them from all food and beverage contact surfaces.
